Hello, my name is Jamia Haynes and I am an upcoming senior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a Public Health major with a concentration in Global Health Studies. My ultimate goal is to become an International Neonatal Travel Nurse. I am originally from Anniston, Alabama where I was raised by my mother, Tara Haynes. I graduated from Anniston High School in 2013, and went on to pursue my academic endeavors. I have always been passionate about working in the health field. Due to hard work and prayer, I have been presented with the opportunity to travel to Sub Saharan, Africa. This particular city in Africa is where I would like to begin my journey as a neonatal travel nurse. The reason why I am pulled to work in this area is because I have a passion for infants. In this city, 40% of the neonatal children die within the first 28 months of life. I really want to save these babies. This internship will be an opportunity of a lifetime and if The Lord places it on your heart to give, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! I love you all.
