Hello!
My name is Racheal Ayankunbi! I am a 17-year-old high school senior maintaining a 4.2 GPA. I am pursuing a career in cardiothoracic surgery. I have been presented with an opportunity to travel to Pula, Croatia next summer with Gap Medics for a hospital-based medical internship to shadow a physician for 1-2 weeks. I have always been passionate about the sciences and I am so excited to be able to get a "head-start" in my future profession. During this trip, I will spend 23 hours in a local hospital each week to observe how clinical procedures are performed. On the weekends I will have the opportunity to immerse myself into the Croatian culture! Click here to learn more about Gap Medics!

This is a trip I am very excited about, but I need your help! The cost of this trip is $5500 and this includes accommodation, food, activities, airfare to and from Croatia, and website fees. The full balance is due by April of 2018.
