Hello and thank you for stopping by to take a look at my campaign!

I am a single mother of 3 wonderful kids (currently age 18, soon to be 13, and 8). I work 10-14 hour shifts anywhere from 5-6 days a week and am always on call. I don't ever really have time to do anything big for them and the job is just enough really to keep up with bills and every day life expenses. My son turns 13 in October and he really wants to go see various places to check out museums and science centers along with a couple colleges located abroad. My oldest daughter wants to explore the states and Canada (as she is afraid to get on a plane but said one day she might) and my youngest just has a wanderlust to die for and wants to hear all the languages and try to learn them and what better way than to immerse yourself into the area.

I want to give them experiences, education, and cultural knowledge they can't get here at home that can help them with everything they could possibly want to do in life. My son wants to go into structural and mechanical engineering when he is older and Rangsit in Thailand is just one of the schools on top of his list he is wanting to look into. Being able to travel around and see how different places design things will also help him on his journey.

My oldest is very artistic and would benefit from seeing the various forms of art, and techniques, used around the world.

My youngest, is trying to learn Japanese right now, is also very artistic, and has many years left to figure out what she wants to do, currently on track to be a vetrinarian (who knows, maybe she can take up helping exotic animals around the world).

For me, this would give me a chance to bond with my children and allow me to teach them about other parts of the world and how we are just a small speck of whatever you want to call it. That the w data:text/mce-internal,My orld is a much richer place than our backyard..

Currently, I work more than full time, as stated above, but I also sell plasma and stash away the little bit I can from that to save for the trips. I also use whatever is left of income taxes once bills and daily life needs are taken care of and caught up on to put away for this as well.

S. Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand are our first wish stop.

  • Goal Update

I have been able to secure all funding except for accomodations and one flight ticket. My son is getting super excited but is worried we may not get lucky enough for the last little bit. I told him not to worry, that somehow we will make it work. He has even asked for an alternative destination if all else fails.
