My Travel Story

Asalaam aleikum wa ramatullahi wa barakatu! 

My name is Emma and I am 44 years old. Sweden is not the most conducive environment for a Muslim revert. I would love to be able to go out in the world and experience a Muslim majority country. My wish is to spend the Ramadhan of 2024 in a Muslim majority country. I have fasted for Ramadhan 4 times, but of course it is not the same thing in Sweden, as it would be in a Muslim country. 

Unfortunately it is a bit hard for me to raise the money for a trip. I don't work, I was forced to retire early because of a hand injury, that subsequently led to a depression, after which I found out that I am bipolar. 

Islam has given me strength to handle and accept my situation.

To be able to experience Ramadhan in a Muslim country would be amazing. Also to learn more about Islam and be able to be in an environment whew you hear the adhan every day, helps to strengthen the faith even more. In Sweden, prayer calls are not allowed.

If there is anyone out there who would be able to help me track my goal, I would really appreciate anything you are willing to contribute.
