My Travel Story

I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Tourism Planning. My trip to Bali in September is school related, but I am also planning to do solo research about Balinese culture to help me understand more about the Bali tourism industry which is highly infused with its culture and tradition. I also would like to learn about Balinese tourism planning and policy development in relation to tourism. 
As an Indonesian, I studied Tourism Planning in order to know more about the tourism industry in my country, and hope to someday I could contribute to building a better, safe, and improved tourism environment for both the visitor and the locals.
As a local, I witness how my country's tourism industry grows and thrives in the past and was always fascinated by how there is much more to learn about my country's tourism potential. Indonesia has diverse cultures and traditions, and with 17,504 islands that we have, there is always something new to learn every day.
The reason I choose Bali is because I already have an agenda to attend in September. Other than that, is because I came from another part of Indonesia where the culture and traditions are totally different from Bali, so learning about other cultures and traditions is an amazing experience I would love to have.
This trip would be meaningful to me because not only that I get to experience many new things but it will also help me with my study and research on my way to get my master's degree.
