My Travel Story

Hello there, kind-hearted souls and fellow dreamers,

We're reaching out today with a humble plea for your support to make a long-held dream come true. We've never asked for assistance before, but our story is one of love, resilience, and the pursuit of a dream that has remained close to our hearts.

Our journey began over two decades ago, on a memorable July 4th in 1996 when we first officially started dating. We were young and full of dreams, but life led us on separate paths for a while. After years of waiting for the right moment, the stars aligned, and we were reunited.

Our love story reached its pinnacle on July 4th, 2021, when we exchanged vows in a simple ceremony under the watchful eyes of park guest under the Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. It was a low-cost affair, but the simplicity made it all the more special. As husband and wife, we decided it was time to make another dream a reality – owning our first home. Two years of hard work and dedication finally paid off when we closed on our first home in August 2022, making our dreams of homeownership a reality. We were living the life we had always envisioned, complete with three wonderful kids.

But life has a way of surprising us, doesn't it? On our very first night in our new home, a plumbing issue reared its head. Water flooded our downstairs, walls crumbled, and we had to spend over $5,000 on repairs. Just as we thought we were back on track, our roof decided to join the commotion, resulting in another $10,000 in expenses. It seemed like every time we saved a bit of an emergency fund, life had other plans.

Despite the setbacks, we hold our family close and count our blessings, knowing that many others face far more significant challenges. Yet, we can't help but remember the three things my wife has always wished for: to be my wife, to own our home, and to visit Paris and see the Eiffel Tower.

My wife has never left the country, never stepped onto a commercial airline, and Paris remains a distant dream. We can't think of anything more beautiful at this moment than the opportunity to take her to her dream destination, to stand on top of the Eiffel Tower, and kiss her on our anniversary.

We understand that times are tough for everyone, and our dream might seem like a distant star. We honestly don't know how campaigns like this work, but when you want to give someone you love the world, you search and try every possible way.

If you've taken a moment to read our story, it means the world to us. We recognize that we're not alone in facing financial challenges, but we believe in the power of love, community, and shared dreams. If you can donate even a dollar to our campaign, it will be an act of kindness and generosity that we'll forever hold close to our hearts.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will bring us one step closer to making our dream a reality, and for that, we will be eternally grateful. Please join us on this journey to Paris, where love and dreams unite to create something truly magical.

Thank you for your time, your love, and your support.
