My Travel Story

Hello Lorie here,
I'm looking to explore the world and meet others from many different cultures.  I am a person who loves talking so much that whenever I'm quiet others don't seem to know who I am.  I like to share my stories with those I come into contact with and I have no problem doing that.  I am trying to be bold and go places and meet others who can give me new stories.  I have made friends with penpals the last couple of years which is why I'm so interested in traveling; I think I've always desired it.  I'm seeking to meet a penpal in Rome, Italy.  I keep saying I will do it, but my fear and the finacial struggles have kept me from ever trying it. I have recently came up with a blogging name based off my desire to explore; I would never wear a polk-a-dot bikini its a brave thing to do! That is why I called my new blog Polk-a-Dot Binki Explorer.  I'm trying to take this trip to  be part of my new brave beginning.  I hope to share it on my blog.  I have always loved Rome's History, Art, and Culture which I've only seen on travel dvds and movies.  I really think I will have many interesting stories to share; most of the things that happen to me never happened to another people. These are just a few to examples of what I mean. How many people bake a cake in my kitchen with two young kids(at the time) and a bat comes flying around me? Who has a crazy cat goes unconscious when I get him off the christmas tree for at least 5 times that day?  Also who has the toliet roll holder go down the toilet in one clean flush don't ask how?  Lastly who has a bird fly through a fireplace glass doors and decides to poop right on my new bed spread while I go screaming frantically around the house? These are my life experiences.  I'm sure my experiences in Rome will be just a comical and interesting to share with others.  Also I want to give back to others I am planning to give if two places that have found importance in my heart one is to feeding those in need of food and the second to breast cancer patients needing help.  So if my stories can help raise any funds I plan to give to those organizations.  I'm also thinking of trying to help others countries learning English, so this would be my first chance to see a new environment with a new culture.  Ok I have talked long enough maybe too long.  I'm just very excited to be able to explore Rome and I know I need financial help, so that is why I'm on here.
