Hi! My name is Lynn and I used to be a mother. Recently, my son passed away and I just haven't felt a calling for anything since. That is until I started researching teaching ESL in South Korea. I started researching South Korea because my son is a quarter Korean and this country and culture is amazing and I would love to be a part of it and feel connected to him. I visited a lantern festival celebrating Korean culture in the states and I felt so alive!
I have experience teaching ESL online and I love teaching children and feel like I would be my best self teaching English to children in South Korea. I've been so motivated by this that I have already started learning Korean! I think that being able to teach in South Korea will give me a purpose, broaden my horizons and allow me to help children learn English so that they can one day contribute to the growing global economy (or just enjoy speaking English).
