I want to achieve my career goal of owning an international media production company. I want to be able to adapt American books, Korean webtoons (Korean comics), and Japanese manga (Japanese comics) into live-action media or anime (Japanese cartoons). This summer, I will be participating in a 6-week CIEE study abroad program from June to August, where I will start learning how to read Korean literature to be able to make sure it translates well into different types of media, whether it's animation or live-action. Studying abroad in Korea will bring me closer to overcoming language and cultural differences, and your contribution will go towards my tuition fees. My study abroad program will give me the tools to have a positive impact on society by bridging the gap between both Eastern and Western cultures enabling us to solve issues that impact us all!
