Epilepsy: Need to Travel to Receive Proper Medical Treatment
My Travel Story
At the age of about 10 yrs old my son was in gym and he got hit in the head with a ball hard and as the ball hit him in the head he went down hitting his head on a brick wall. Ever since that day, my son has had EPILEPSY. His seizures have gotten worse as time has went on.
Where we reside currently they do not have doctors who specialize in EPILEPSY or really do they know to much of anything.
Just a few days ago within a 21 hour time period he had 11 seizures taken by ambulance 3 times for them to send him right back home, even paramedics were concerned. Now when he has a seizure his head hurts so bad that he can't even pick his up which could be a sign of BRAIN DAMAGE. He already has memory loss and has lost alot of muscle tone. His seizures are now lasting alot longer, more often, coming out of it has been really off nd if I can't get him to the cities soon......things might not go well. I have to stand there, helpless because there is nothing I can do but pray that be comes out of it okay and cry. Watching him, I can only imagine what he is going through and it breaks my heart everytime. Times are tough in today's world so I understand not everyone can make a donation so please just say a prayer for us if you cannot donate, any and every little thing helps right now. Just remember this FUND MY TRIP is not for pleasure or a WANT but it is a NEED to get this young adult the treatment and medical care that he needs.
