In January of 2024, I hope to travel to Europe with EF Gap Year, where I will be staying with a host family for 11 months while attending an EF language immersion program in Paris, France. My goal is to immerse myself in French culture, where I can connect to my origins and expose myself to history while becoming a fluent speaker of French. I am most excited to see historical sights and museums full of art while connecting to both those within the program and those I meet once I arrive. These 11 months will equip me for pursuing my passion for art and attending an art master’s program in France once I am a fluent speaker and gain educational and professional connections. I am working hard to save up the money that is needed for this program, and while I am wholeheartedly embracing the challenge, I would be eternally grateful for any financial assistance, as raising funds will immensely help my ability to join the program.
