The opportunity has arisen to work and learn alongside two nonprofits (St. John’s County Audubon & The Friendship Association) in Cuba! The mission of this trip is to interact with Cuban nature, support and aid conservationists, and learn about and help protect Cuban birds.

Led by author and conservationist Paul Baicich, this 11 day trip would include coverage for all travel, hotels, and meals, as well as transportation and any extra fees. We will get the opportunity to study the environments of the area and learn about local and international conservation practices and endemic species. I believe this presents an incredible opportunity and encompasses skills and knowledge suitable for my future career path and education overall!

Things are tight right now, but I’m too ambitious to let an opportunity like this go without giving it a shot! Any bit would help me work towards saving for the upcoming deadline payments. I greatly appreciate all support!

If I am unable to set aside enough to fund the trip, all donations to this fundraiser will be donated to the National Audubon Society for bird conservation with posted proof.

Thank you all!
