A Journey Toward Joy: Help Micah and I Reach the Moments of Joy Conference "Life with my son, Micah, is a beautiful adventure, but it is also one that requires immense resilience. Micah lives with significant disabilities that affect his communication and daily physical functioning. As a parent, my greatest mission is to find environments where he isn't just supported, but truly celebrated. The Moments of Joy conference is a rare chance for us to step into a community that 'gets it.' For Micah, it is an opportunity to engage in sensory-friendly activities and build confidence in a space designed specifically for his success. However, our journey there has become more complicated recently. I am currently navigating my own health battles, including a retinal detachment and ongoing low vision issues. Managing my own recovery while ensuring Micah gets the care he deserves has been a mountain to climb. Because of my vision limitations and the specialized care Micah requires, the logistics and costs of traveling to this conference are more than we can handle alone. We are asking for your help to cover travel, accessible lodging, and registration costs. Your support doesn't just fund a trip; it provides a much-needed breath of fresh air for a family fighting hard every day.
