My Travel Story

My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have 3 wonderful boys, ages 15, 12, and 9. My son's 12th birthday is today. During this time, we've never met my father-in-law, who resides in North Carolina. He and his son were estranged due to a rough childhood. Over the years, I encouraged my husband to reach out to his father, forgive him, and reconcile with him. It was not easy, but eventually he did and they have since corresponded regularly. Unfortunately, we have never met in person, speaking only over the phone. He is now diagnosed with prostate cancer and I really want my children to have the opportunity to finally meet their granddad before it's too late. We need help raising sufficient funds to travel and make this a reality. Getting them to finally meet him would help to create a lifetime of precious memories for them.
