My Travel Story

I have travelled a little in Asia years ago but for this trip I desire to give something back. To help and not be a tourist. I wish to contribute something meaningful for others, so I chose teaching English to children in Luang Prabang Laos. I have seven grandchildren of my own and know how important enriching children's lives is. It will be rewarding knowing I can make a small difference, and at the same time, promote the great programs organised through IVHQ.
I was hoping to be able to fund this trip on my own but, although I've been searching for some time, I have not been able to gain employment. Now I am running out of time as my placement is due to begin in seven weeks.
I would be very grateful for any financial assistance.
I will be journaling my trip with photos and notes on my Facebook page.
