Empower Dreams: Fund MY MPM Education
My Travel Story
To me, the prospect of pursuing a Master of Project Management in England is an exceptionally enticing endeavor. As a Senior UX UI developer with five-plus years of experience, specializing in complex web and mobile application design, I have been instrumental in driving successful outcomes for a number of organizations including the company I work at now, IQona Tech Company. The 15% increase in user satisfaction and 20% increase in conversions I have achieved through the creation of interactively tested, data-driven, and user-centered designs is a testament to my capabilities. There are several benefits to pursuing a Master of Project Management degree in the United States, including:
My narrative begins with my desire to pursue a master's degree in project management after becoming the IQona company's Ux Ui team head, as I became the first person accountable for making IT services useable and accessible to end users. I almost participate in all phases of the production stages—from planning, and conducting user research to creating interactive prototypes, and finally, testing them with users. So far, I've been able to produce more than 30 mobile applications and 40 websites for several locally and globally. During the production stages, I've observed that the outdated project management tools and methodologies we've been using don't anymore produce the desired results, especially in light of the rapid change in the I.T. industry. Another factor that contributes to some issues in the production processes is the slow development, particularly if the client isn't clear about his requirements, the limited room for the client’s opinion in every development process. Furthermore, owing to a lack of coordination with the teamwork and the complexity of change, and a lack of mutual development, our outdated methodology had a time-management issue where, once an application has reached the testing stage, it is likely hard, time-consuming, and expensive to go back and make the necessary adjustments. So, I decided to study master of project management which will considerably help me to closely get to know methodologies like (Agile), (scrum), and (kanban) that, when used, will improve project control, improve the development process, increase frequency of collaboration and feedback, increase flexibility enabling our team to easily adapt to change, reduce waste of efforts and money by minimizing resources, additionally, rapid deploy. Applying such approaches and technologies, which have gotten little attention in Gaza, would be more advantageous for the IT projects management. Particularly, the scarcity of people applying these more advanced techniques and methodologies on their works make me very interested to study them broadly in the U.S.A.
Moreover, while pursuing this degree, I will delve deep into courses on Project Management Principles in IT, Project Information and Communication Management, Project Risk Analysis, and Quality Assurance, project human resources management. All of that will help me a lot in my work plan of founding my own business of IT, which I will implement on my return from England to Gaza with a master's degree in project management.
Plus, I desire to actively contribute to the development of the Gaza Strip's information technology sector by replacing old project management theories with modern ones that are directly proportional to the dramatic development of the global information technology sector, particularly with the emergence of the artificial intelligence revolution that is currently sweeping the world by beginning consulting and training with NGOs and governmental organizations, bringing the new skills and knowledge I will acquire during my master's study period, and helping to improve how the I.T. projects are managed in Gaza through holding workshops and seminars and training courses. In addition, I'll launch my own business providing IT solutions based on contemporary project management approaches. My long-term objectives are to earn a Ph.D. and form partnerships to expand my company's services both domestically and globally through being able to Access to Networking Opportunities, as by studying in England, I will have the opportunity to network with professionals from around the world and build relationships that can benefit me throughout your career.
