The Philippines is made up of over 7,000 islands, so consider the logistics of traveling between islands. Book flights, ferries or boats in advance. Filipino culture is very relational. Food and festivals are a big part of Filipino culture. Experience local cuisine and attend local events to connect with people.
Indonesia has over 300 ethnic groups, so understand the cultural nuances across different regions. Build relationships with local community leaders and partners.
Research Cambodia's history, especially the Khmer Rouge period. Being mindful of this history will allow me to communicate and campaign in Cambodia more effectively and sensitively. Consult local partners for guidance as well.
Overall, collaborate closely with local teams, be culturally sensitive, build genuine relationships, and adapt your campaigning style to resonate in each location.
