My Travel Story

Hello!

I'm Taylor, I live in Hampshire UK and I'm 14 years old.  Myself and 4 of my school friends are hoping to visit Nakuru, Kenya in August 2022 for 10 nights with African Adventures. This trip will be my first time going abroad with school and I'm excited!

In Kenya I will have the opportunity to teach structured lessons both inside and outside of the classroom. Not only will I be teaching but I'll also be helping the local tradesmen to build classrooms and renovate existing buildings. 

I'm passionate about this project because I love helping people whilst having the opportunity to explore different places and their cultures. 

To help raise funds, my friends and I are taking part in a lot of activities such as cake sales and walking challenges. In March 2022 I've challenged myself to walk the perimeter of Hayling Island, Hampshire UK. This walk will be 18.5 miles and will push me to my limits but I'm determined to achieve this and raise the money we need to get to Kenya!
