Hey everyone! I'm going on a volunteer trip for one week in africa this february! I will be using my time there to care for kids and help around at children's schools in a small poverish community!
I'm excited for the oppurtunity to emerse myself in the culture and way of living there. I'm ready for a new eye opening experience and to do the best I can in making a difference with the limited time I have there!
I chose ghana because with research, I've found that it's a very safe country and I will be well cared for there! This is my first time out of the country, and with my first ever job and some inheritance money from my nana, I paid for expenses with my own money! (not my parents haha)
I would love to travel more in the future, but for this volunteer trip I would love it if friends and family can help me out!
This experience will help me grow more as a young adult, as well as learn new cultures and ways of life outside of my own life in the united states!! If you want to see me go through my journey, you can contact me and I'll send you pictures and videos when I travel.
