My Travel Story

Hi Everyone! 

          I have been studying Marketing at Oklahoma State University for the past couple years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to do so much. I have grown close with professors, participated in clubs, and attended many professional development events. I am working hard to ensure I am ready for what’s to come after graduation in May. 

          There is one thing missing from my experience in becoming a young professional. I have never experienced life outside of the United States. I have decided to participate in a Spears School of Business Study Abroad trip to Barcelona, Spain. The trip will give me real life experience in business and culture in another country.

          During the trip, I will be taking a marketing class and visiting famous landmarks and local businesses. The trip will be very beneficial to my education.

          The total cost of this program, including my airfare and meals, comes to about $5,000. I have applied for scholarships and financial aid, however, I will short by quite a bit.

          If you could contribute any amount I would be forever grateful. To let you know your money is going to good use, I will happily create a newsletter with everything I learned, pictures, and fun facts once I get back from the trip.

    Fundraiser Update - November 7, 2022
    I am so excited to announce that I have raised $305 and a plane ticket towards my goal!

    Some non-fundraising updates:
    1) I am one shift away from becoming a "Bird Specialist" at Raising Cane's! (One position below a manager)
    2) I worked my first OSU Men's Basketball Game which was awesome!

    4) I submitted all of my documents for a passport which I should have by January!
