Hi, I am Ria, I graduated as an Engineer but in my heart I want to become a patisserie chef. Ever since I was in high school, I love baking, I have even compete at different schools because of that and I always on the top places, 2nd or 3rd. I believe baking was my dream even since, everybody from our class before expected me to become a patisserie someday. I remembered, one of our batchmate   wrote it as batch prophecy. But after graduation from high school, I have never been engaged to any baking courses. I ended up as an engineer, it was because my family cannot support my studies in culinary. I was an scholar and graduated with high colors, I always feel empty. I had worked as an engineer but still my heart belongs to baking. When I was still working, I bought an oven, so that I can bake some for my family. It was fulfilling, making them happy with my cakes. Before, my mother was against with me, she really wanted me as an engineer, but when she saw me happy in baking, she accepted it. And that made me really happy that I can now do my dream. But it was not easy for me, I quit my job and my earnings as part time in selling homemade could not afford me to go study for a full course. I want to further my knowledge and of course my experience, to become a fully fledged patisserie.
First I am planning this July to fly to Japan, to have a school trip at Le Cordon Blueu. Then if I can do it, then I will study there for 3 months. Then I will further it to Paris, France, if possible. But my priority for now is to go to Japan for Le Cordon Blueu.
I don’t know how to thanks anyone who will help, I want to bake you a cake.
