My Travel Story

Hey Donors,
                My name is Shawn Netto Cabral.  I am from Swansea, MA but am currently living in Sweet Home(Little Rock), Arkansas. The past 8 years have taught me that I've learned the hard way that Arkansas is not the place for me or my family but I gave it 8 years to get better yet it got worse and to keep my son who just turned 18 is not an option there are no opportunities for him to grow or advance his mind or skill set without having to spend a bunch of money that I currently do not have. Back home in Massachusetts my son has Umass Dartmouth College awaiting his arrival and it's exactly what my son wants and needs. If I can raise enough money we will be moving to Boston, Massachusetts so myson can go to college and I can go to school as well. My son Noah is clueless to the world right now because we're about 11 miles away from civilization out here in Little Rock a little sub town called sweet home. There are no stores and without a vehicle it's made life that much harder. In Boston there are the T's or The Train stations where transportation will never be an issue. We wont have to worry about how to get to the store for food etc like we are now. It's really embarrassing talking about my liife right now but frankly, its to the point where I can't be that petty because if it dont get fixed its going to become unmanageable to the point of no return. My son is still Green to life hes now 18 but still a kid to me. Im teaching him everything I know in life and trying to teach him the in's and out's of life. He's got an awesome education waiting for him at Umass Dartmouth and If I have to I'll send him home 1st. MY wife and I both have vehicles but of course I don't have the money to fix them which is around $4k in replacement parts and Arkansas deemed me not disabled after being disabled for 37 years because my health insurance wasn't valid because it was Masshealth from Massachusetts and I couldn't see a psychiatrist out here with it and it gave arkansas the decision that I wasn't disabled because of it. I appealed it 3 times and still got denied and now I'm fighting for my life and my family's life. With my mother in law having a broken hip and only my wife and I to care for her it's not easy trying to get my family back to some form of Norm and I need help. Never in my life would I have ever thought I'd be asking strangers online for help like this I've always been the person helping others but now I have tried to humble myself, bite my tongue and ask for help any form of help will work right now. If I can get my wife and my cat fixed it would be of immense help and the 1st step towards going home to Massachusetts. I am getting my life back.
