My Travel Story

Have you ever felt very close to someone very different from you?
You don't share the same language, the same religion, the same education but you are able to share knowledge, stories and to grow together. How is that possible?
I believe education and learning is not a passive process, it is active. As a neuroscientist, I study the brain, how can mice learn new tasks? Which cells are involved and how can the brain make new, distinct connections?
In this trip, I want to be the mouse performing the experiment. What can I learn from people living completely distinct lifes from mine? Do we have common interests? What are the problems in each country?
I will cross 10 culturally distinct countries and ask people the same questions. What will be the answers? What can we learn from them?
I hope to be able to share the answers with you and to raise awareness to global problems, "their issues are our issues".
