My Travel Story

Hi! I'm hoping to fundraise some money for my trip to Honduras  in July 2021 to be an undergraduate research assistant as part of Operation Wallacea. OpWall is a conservation organisation with many student run operations worldwide (both marine and terrestrial). 

The Honduras expedition is particularly close to my heart as it involves a research project which aims to determine the incidence of the fungal disease Chytridiomycosis. This disease can be lethal to amphibian populations, and thus greatly affects the biodiversity of the area. Since 2016, Chytridiomycosis has been of interest to me, so I would be extremely grateful to be able to partake in the research firsthand. 

It would be incredible if you could help me get there! I am also setting up a ceramic shop on Depop and plan to raise some funds from there too, so any contribution is welcome :)))
