The time has come! It's time to wrap up my schooling and celebrate the hard work that went into my studies. What better and more rewarding way to do that than to give back to the wider community! 

I have decided to fly myself overseas to volunteer in local communities in Nepal. During my stay I will be given the opportunity to work hard and lend a helping hand.

Over the course of twelve days, I will spend six of them trekking around the Himalayas and the other six will be spent helping out on sustainable volunteer projects, supporting local development initiatives. 

After an earthquake in 2015, the people of Nepal have been slowly rebuilding their lives and infrastructure. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to assist in rebuilding those lives. 

This will be a great challenge. Raising enough to fund my trip and purchase necessary equipment is a large task. I would GREATLY appreciate and thank any help that someone could be so kind as to offer me to help get me on my way to helping these communities and seeing a terrific part of the world!
