Hi! My name is Chaynee and I'm a high school sophomore living in GA. It's been my dream for a while to study abroad in South Korea. I love learning about different cultures and learning languages has always interested me. I became aware of this opportunity to study abroad in South Korea with multiple students near me and was ecstatic. The trip allows me to stay with a host family in Korea and work on my language skills and cultural experience. I never imagined I would even get this opportunity and I'm extremely grateful for my ability to do something like this. I know many who are not as fortunate as I am and I'm very appreciative to everyone who has helped me along the way. This is a trip of a lifetime and something I've wanted for a long time. I've worked my tail off, volunteering over 400 hours this summer and being involved in multiple clubs to get where I am and be able to make it into my current magnet school. I want to be able to make a difference and my goal is to be able to teach English as a foreign language to kids in other countries whenever I graduate college. Helping people is my passion and I absolutely live being able to do that for so many people. This trip would give me the opportunity to do so and also further my language learning so that teaching English to kids in Korea can be an achievable goal for me once I graduate. 
The only barrier is cost. Anything is 100 percent appreciated and I know it's not the easiest thing for people to donate but just spreading awareness and supporting me along the way Is also absolutely appreciated.
