My overall future goal is to have a career in international business. I know it is cliché but
there really is no other way saying it: I want to see the world. If I am able to get a job that will pay me to do so then even better. Business now days is global, there is no getting away from it. The internet and technology has made business across boarders easy or easier. If I can get a better understanding of what business is like in another country, that will give me a leg up on applications when job hunting. If I also know about the technology, a bonus.
Since I've been accepted into the program, my exciment level has increased. The program itself is only two weeks, but a lot can be learned in that amount of time. I particpated in another study abroad program in Ireland, it being a two week program as well. I learned a great deal aobut Irish history, govnerment, and most of all business. The main focus of the Ireland trip was to study business. The Japan program is the same way, its acutal program name being CSU in Japan: Comptuer Science and Business. Ireland and Japan are both building blocks to achieve my future goal to work in international business.

Just received an email from my school saying I have received a grant to help paying for the program. The only thing is, it doesn't take effect till the second payment in March. Either way, it still helps.
