My Travel Story

My name is Ella Coronado, and I am currently a first-year student at Queen’s University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I am writing an exciting proposal that is deeply personal to me, as it combines both my passion for teaching and my desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

Since my time in high school, where I graduated with honors from the French Immersion program, I have always been inspired by the teachers who shaped my academic and personal growth. Their encouragement, dedication, and positive influence sparked a profound passion within me to pursue a career in education. I am eager to develop the necessary skills and experience to become an educator myself, and I believe that gaining global perspectives through teaching abroad will be an invaluable opportunity to further this goal.

With this in mind, I have an incredible opportunity to travel to Costa Rica to work with children in a local community. This initiative aims to support and uplift young students in underserved areas, helping to provide them with educational resources, emotional support, and guidance. I would be working as a volunteer, contributing my time and skills to the betterment of these children's lives.

However, as a full-time university student, the financial burden of traveling abroad and participating in this program is significant. That is why I am reaching out with a humble request for support. I am hoping to raise funds to cover my travel expenses, accommodation, and other associated costs, and I would be deeply grateful for any assistance you or your organization may be able to offer.
