My name is Menna, I’m 25 years old and from Alexandria, Egypt.

I’m not just asking for help — I’m sharing a piece of my soul.

A few years ago, I was trapped in a silent war with myself. I battled depression, deep isolation, and pain I couldn’t even describe. It became so overwhelming that I attempted to end my life. I couldn’t see a future. I couldn’t feel hope. I felt like I didn’t belong in this world.

But even at my lowest, something inside me whispered: “Don’t give up yet.”

And so I didn’t.

I slowly found the strength to stand again. I fought to heal, to believe in myself again, and to rebuild my life. I graduated from university, worked hard in customer service and sales, and taught myself how to grow in a world that wasn’t always kind to girls like me.

During all this time in Egypt, I was also facing another fight — one that never made the news, but burned just as deeply inside me. I was fighting for my freedom.

Freedom from a culture that often makes women feel small, weak, and limited.

Freedom to dream without shame, to speak without fear, and to live with strength and dignity.

Now I have a dream that reflects everything I’ve been through:

To study abroad and pursue a master’s degree in Spanish language and culture.

This dream isn’t just about education — it’s my chance to breathe, grow, and finally live as the woman I know I’m meant to be.

But as much as I’ve been working and saving, I can’t do it alone. The costs of travel, visa, tuition, and housing are beyond what I can cover myself right now.

So I’m asking — from the most vulnerable place in my heart — for your help.

Even a small donation can bring me one step closer to a future filled with meaning, healing, and freedom.

Thank you for reading this. Thank you for seeing me.

Your support — big or small — is not just financial. It’s emotional.

It’s a vote of confidence. It’s a piece of hope.

And I promise, I’ll carry it with me forever.
With all my heart,
Menna
