Dear Supporters,

My name is Handel, and I am a high school junior from a single-parent household with a passion for learning and a vision for my future. I am reaching out to seek your support for a life-changing opportunity: a two-week immersive program in Japan, where students will explore the country’s rich history, art, architecture, cuisine, and traditions. This experience will bring our studies to life through study days in Tokyo and Kyoto, school visits, and a weeklong homestay with a Japanese host family.

By engaging with local communities and experiencing daily life firsthand, I will gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s cultural heritage while building meaningful cross-cultural connections. This trip is more than just travel—it’s an opportunity to expand my perspective, develop global awareness, and grow both academically and personally. By stepping outside my comfort zone and immersing myself in a new environment, I will return with valuable knowledge, lifelong memories, and a broader appreciation for the world.
