My Travel Story

If you know me, you know that two of things that I am most passionate about are traveling and psychology. Visiting Spain has always been a dream to me, so when I received the opportunity to live and work in Barcelona for the summer through the Adelante Abroad program, I knew that I immediately needed to take it. I am currently a senior at Louisiana State University majoring in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, and I have accepted an internship position in psychology for the summer of 2024. This internship will allow me to develop my professional skills and gain hands-on experience within the field in order to prepare me for my doctoral program and, later on, a career in neuropsychological research. The program is also entirely in Spanish, so through this, I will finally be able to become fluent. It is an unpaid position, though, so I will need help making this dream become a reality, and I appreciate any contributions.
