I have volunteered to offer my time and effort to assist in the development of programs and structures to the needy children in Kenya. 
The program is tailored to meet a variety of needs from better nutrition through feeding programs, sanitation and academics for the eager young ones. 
Here we participate in activities such as sports, community service, mentorship and teaching of subjects such as English, Maths, Hygiene & nutrition, Environmental education and Physical education.
This fosters the enthusiasm for learning in the young kids by teaching, building classes and offering meals, promote environmental awareness by tree planting, enhancing hygiene and sanitation by providing water tanks, toilets and garbage bins and promote healthy living by engaging in sports activities and physical education.
I hope to enhance my personal growth by opening my mind to new ideologies outside my comfort zone, make merry & foster friendships and memories with the others that I will meet along the way while volunteering, challenge myself in a new environment by working with local people and enjoy the tranquility that comes with it, explore & experience an intriguing new culture by teaching and dining with the locals, assist local staff and in taking care of children, such as feeding, dressing and keeping the children active within the homes and indulge with the young ones about the knowledge of different sports; help the adults know the impact and influence it has on young minds & bodies!
