As an education major, I would love to get hands-on experience with this trip to allow me to be successful in my own classroom in the future. I believe this opportunity is a way I can practice teaching strategies and classroom management which are two skills that are important for future teachers to be successful. I am passionate about this project because I believe everyone should get an education. School is what makes students successful and learn concepts they can use in the real world. Therefore, I am passionate to help the students in Merida by teaching them and being a mentor for them if they ever need help. My goal is to help these students learn English and help them achieve any goals they have in the future.
