My Travel Story

I am a senior at the University of Alaska Fairbanks studying Wildlife Biology and Conservation. I have a strong passion for wildlife, research, and education. It is important to me that I be the voice for wildlife and species that need our help. Because of this, I am highly motivated and goal-oriented. My goal is to become a wildlife researcher and this opportunity will only strengthen the skills required for that position. This course will enhance my skills in methods of measuring environmental variables, including assessment of resource availability, methods of collecting and analyzing the behavior of free-ranging primates, assessments of biodiversity, and techniques for estimating population size.
