My Travel Story

I would like to start a transition house for single mothers and children alike. With this pandemic I’ve noticed that a lot of singles mothers and their kids are the ones who have been affected the most. This has also come and increase in violence against women (VAW). I would like this housing to be able to provide emotional support, safe place to stay, on job training, safety training and services for long term housing. This second stage housing project can be the health service and counseling support that most of these woman and children would need in order to move forward and fresh start. During this time I cannot and we should not let this violence against children and woman who are meant to be safe in their homes be scarred forever by this.
