I have been lucky enough to be accepted in a study abroad program traveling to Great Britain and Berlin, Germany.  Those who know me are aware how much I love history and Europe, especially Great Britain. This is really a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to go see all the history I've learned up close and in person.  While there I will be studying the environmental history of European cities, focusing on how human settlements shape the natural world (and vice-versa), and the political, social, and economic forces that have made cities more or less sustainable over time.  So basically, I am getting to study first-hand how past societies have shaped our future.
I had not planned on asking for help to pay for this study abroad.  I found out that I was unable to get the financial aid I thought I had.  So now I'm hoping to raise something with your help!  This is not about vacationing in Europe, this is a chance to learn outside of a textbook and experience history.  If you can offer any help it is greatly appreciated!  I am trying to not have to take out a private loan to pay.  Thank you so much for reading this and your support!
