Saving the Amazon
My Travel Story
This year I have the amazing opportunity to go to the Amazon rainforest in French Guiana as part of my Master’s program, and I’m asking for a little support to help me get there.
I’ll be working on a project that uses camera traps to study wildlife in the jungle. These cameras help us figure out which animals are out there and how many, which is important for understanding how to protect them. It's all about learning how to better estimate animal populations and improve conservation efforts.
For me, this trip isn’t just a study project, but it’s a step toward the kind of work I want to dedicate my life to; healing our planet. I’ll be gaining hands-on experience, learning skills that will help me grow as a conservation biologist, and contributing to real research that can make a difference.
I’m covering as much of the cost as I can, but I could really use your help. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to the rainforest.
Thank you for supporting me and believing in this journey!
