I’m a single mom of four amazing kids, ages 8–13. Life hasn’t always been easy for us, but through every challenge, we’ve stuck together as a team. My kids are good kids—they’ve been through a lot, and they’ve taught me what strength really looks like.

One of my oldest son’s biggest dreams has always been to visit Hawaii. He talks about it often, and I’ve always wished I could make that dream come true. Unfortunately, as a single parent, I’ve only been able to take them on small trips within our state.

This February, I want to finally surprise my two oldest sons—and give all four of my children—their first real family adventure: a trip to Hawaii.
