Funding a Future Leader's NYC Learning Experience
My Travel Story
I am a Grade 11 student at Royal West Academy in Montreal, and I am writing to you today to ask for your support in reaching a important academic goal.
This February, my school is organizing an educational trip to New York City. This is not a typical vacation, it's a curated learning experience that includes visits to institutions like the Museum of Modern Art and the American Museum of Natural History. As a student passionate about art history, sciences, literature, and culture, this trip is a once-in-a-high-school opportunity to bring my classroom studies to life.
The total cost of the trip is $1,300. I am committed to earning as much of this as I possibly can. I have already secured a weekly tutoring job, and I am actively building a small business offering dog-walking and snow-shoveling services in my neighborhood. I believe in working for my goals.
However, with payment deadlines fast approaching, I have created this fundraiser to help bridge the gap between what I can earn and the total cost. I am choosing to remain anonymous to protect my privacy, but I want to be completely transparent about my efforts and my goal.
Here is a breakdown of the payments I need to make:
October 27th: $150
November 3rd: $300
December 1st: $400
January 2nd: $449
