My Travel Story

Embarking on a 12-month journey through Jordan, Oman, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Argentina would truly be a travel of a lifetime. Each of these countries offers unique cultural experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and rich histories that would make for an unforgettable adventure.

Starting in Jordan,  exploring  the ancient city of Petra, float in the Dead Sea, and camp under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert. In Oman,  visiting the stunning Muscat, hike through the rugged mountains, and relax on the pristine beaches along the Indian Ocean.

Vietnam and Laos would offer opportunities to immerse myself in the vibrant street food scenes, explore the lush rice terraces and limestone karsts, and learn about the rich history of the region. In Cambodia,  visiting  the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat temples, learn about the country's tragic history at the Killing Fields, and relax on the beautiful beaches of Sihanoukville.

Mongolia would provide a stark contrast with its vast, rugged landscapes, nomadic culture, and stunning natural beauty.  staying with local families in traditional ger camps, ride horses through the rolling hills, and witness the famous Naadam Festival.

Finally, in Argentina, finding  tango in Buenos Aires, trek through the Patagonian wilderness, and explore the wine regions around Mendoza. Along the way,  also engage in volunteer work, such as teaching English to local children, helping with wildlife conservation projects, or supporting community development initiatives.

As part of my journey, I will  also undertake a photography project, capturing the beauty and diversity of each country and its people. Through my photos, I will share the stories and experiences of my encouters  encounter, creating a lasting record of my incredible journey, in a documentary, a book and a photoexposition at the end.

Overall, a 12-month trip through these countries would not only be a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience but also an opportunity to exchange life experiences, learn about different cultures, make a positive impact through volunteer work, and create stunning visual memories through your photography project. It would be a journey that would truly enrich my  life and others lifes  and leave a lasting impression on your heart and soul.
