My Travel Story

This trip will be my first volunteer trip after graduating high school. I will be spending a month in Costa Rica researching and protecting the endangered sea turtles through the Love Volunteers program. I want to use my passions for environment and wildlife conservation efforts to make a positive impact on the world. As someone who will be graduating from high school, I do not have a lot of money in the bank- but I do have a lot of love in my heart for this world and everything in it. I chose this as my first trip because it connects everything I love most: marine life, conservation work, travel, and the ocean itself. I am from Washington State, so the ocean and it's inhabitants are very near and dear to my heart. This will be one of the most meaningful experiences of my life because I will finally be able to put my passions into action and start to make the difference I want to see in the world.
