Hello! Здравствуйте!

My name is Leonor Morrow and I am a sophomore at Georgetown University. I am majoring in Culture and Politics with a focus on linguistics and migration and minoring in Russian. From June 17th to August 13th 2017, I will have the amazing opportunity to live and study in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I will be taking Russian language courses as well as content-based courses in Russian in order to improve my language skills.

Please consider donating to my campaign in order to alleviate the costs of studying abroad. I have received some assistance in the form of scholarships, but unfortunately this is not enough to cover all expenses. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! As a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship recipient, I must complete a follow-up project upon returning home. For this project, I plan to combine my love of people, culture, and photography. I will capture Humans of New York-style photographs of my fellow classmates, my host family, and other people I encounter in Russia, as well as images of significant historical places. Each photo will be accompanied by a brief caption, the location where it was taken, the date, and camera/lens information. I will post these photos to a blog (http://photographyinpetersburg.wordpress.com) and also publish them as a physical collection.
