Having never travelled out of Australia before, I have finally decided to head over seas for 4 weeks to Malaysia to participate in a orangutan conservation volunteer program at the end of the year!
I'm ridiculously excited for this trip!
Since a little chubby kid i've have always wanted to work with orangutans and help get their numbers back up in the wild, who wouldn't want to?! They're adorable!
When i start this program I will be caring for these little critters, cleaning, facility maitenence and most importantly helping to educate the community about why we need to help these beautiful animals and to help spread word about the amazing conservation efforts for the orangutans.
This is just a stepping stone in the journey I want to partake in, animal conservation.
Not only do I hold this particular trip close to my heart, but for any animal conservation efforts. And this being my first trip it means alot to me because not only do I get to travel but I get to help make a difference in the process!
Now, like anything, funds needed and can be tight, so I've decided to set up a campaign to try and raise a little money for my trip to help out.
I understand some people may also be tight with money at the moment, but any small donation would be appreciated and would go along way towards a great cause! Any donation no matter how big or small will mean the world to me and makes a huge difference. Thank you!
