My Travel Story

Hi everyone! My name is Kelly, I’m a 19 year old from Elsies River and I’m a proud member of the South African Youth Choir. I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to perform at the Gospelise 38 Festival in France with the SA Youth Choir in February 2026.

This opportunity means so much to me because singing has always been a huge part of my life. Being in the choir has helped me grow not only as a vocalist, but as a performer, a team member, and a young adult. Getting the chance to take our music to an international stage is something I never imagined would happen so soon in my journey.

I need to raise funds to cover my travel costs and that’s why I’ve started this BackaBuddy campaign. I’m raising funds to get myself onto that plane so I can proudly represent South Africa alongside my choir. Even the smallest contribution helps, and sharing my link is just as meaningful.
