Hello wonderful people,

I hope this message finds you well and happy, and enjoying the gift of life, perhaps even sipping a nice cup of tea.

I’m a 75-year-old pensioner, and if you’ve ever tried living on a pension, you know it’s a bit like trying to stretch a rubber band around an elephant. It’s doable, but it takes some creativity!

For the past 52 years, I’ve been doing my best to follow my spiritual Teacher, Prem Rawat. In my eyes, he allows me to have a living experience of the Upanishads. The Upanishads are ancient Sanskrit texts, and the word "Upanishad" essentially means “to sit at the feet of the Teacher and soak up the wisdom.” And have I soaked up a lot! But there’s always more to understand, and Prem is a never-ending fountain of inspiration. He is wise, uplifting and always heartening.

Prem will be speaking at the Amaroo 2024 event at Ivory's Rock Conference Centre in Queensland. Five days of morning and afternoon sessions filled with wisdom, clarity, and maybe even a few jokes (he’s quite the speaker, check out the videos). I would love to be there to recharge, try to recuperate from some health issues, and just bask in the bliss.

But here’s the catch: I need about $2,000 to cover the return airfare and accommodation. Given that 45% of my pension goes to rent and I’ve had a series of unexpected expenses (because life loves surprises), my kitty is looking pretty empty. I’ve tried everything I can think of to raise the necessary funds, but come up short so far.

So, this is my last, hopeful attempt to get there. If you can help me out, I would be wholeheartedly grateful. And though I can’t pay you back directly, I will pay it forward. After all, kindness is the best currency, right?

Thank you kindly for considering my request. Wishing you peace and prosperity - but peace first!,

Anthony
