Growing up, my dream destination was Amsterdam. I had no idea why, but I was just really drawn to the city. And once I was old enough, I understood why. Amsterdam is a city with a bustling youth culture and growing creative community. As a writer and Anthropology scholar, travelling means inspiration and creativity. To be in a completely new space with new people and experiences will allow my creative juices to flow in a way they never have. To see the world has always been a big wish of mine and a goal I work toward everyday! This trip would open up the world to me and expose me to so many opportunities! I can not wait to attend open mics, poetry sessions, museums and heritage sites to really immerse myself in the artistic culture and heritage of Amsterdam!
