Hi, my name is Laila Robertson, and I'm a high school sophomore. I decided to take a leap and apply for a summer abroad program in 2025: the CIEE High School Summer Study Abroad Program. Lucky for me, my risk paid off, and I am honored to share that I was awarded an 80% scholarship to study culinary arts in Paris, France! This is truly a dream come true for someone like me, as I’ve never had the chance to travel abroad or experience an opportunity like this—one where I can immerse myself in something I am deeply passionate about.

The CIEE program has been incredibly generous in covering most of my expenses, but I still need some additional help to cover the remaining tuition and the cost of my flight to secure my place in this amazing opportunity. Any contribution, big or small, would be greatly appreciated, as it will help make this once-in-a-lifetime experience a reality.
