How will this impact your education or career?
As a doctoral student, this experience will greatly enhance my education and career prospects by providing hands-on learning opportunities and exposure to international educational systems. It will allow me to gain perspectives on how other countries problem-solve, work together, and value leadership, which are essential for success in both academia and the professional world. Additionally, the connections I make and the knowledge I gain through this experience will open doors to future opportunities and help me stand out in a competitive job market.

How will you make a difference in the community?
I am committed to making a positive impact in my community by leveraging my skills and resources to address pressing issues and improve the lives of the students and staff around me. Whether it's sharing my knowledge or implementing what I will learn, I believe in the power of collective action to drive meaningful change. I am confident that I can contribute to building a more inclusive, equitable, and thriving society.

Why are you passionate about this project?
I am passionate about this project because our educational system, especially in the public realm, needs to be revamped. This opportunity aligns perfectly with my interests. It tackles an important issue that I deeply care about, and I believe in its potential to make a significant difference in student lives. The opportunity to be part of something greater than myself and to work alongside like-minded individuals who share my passion is incredibly inspiring and motivating.

Why did you choose this destination?
This destination was chosen by Maryville University. Utilizing EF Tours, an organization that prides itself on providing a well-thought-out trip gives me comfort in traveling across seas. For 8-10 days, I hope to immerse myself in the culture and learn of the country's history and traditions in education. I am most excited to engage with educators abroad. 

What makes this meaningful for you?
This experience is significant because it represents a culmination of my personal and professional aspirations. It provides me with the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, challenge myself, and grow in ways I never thought possible. Moreover, knowing that my efforts will directly contribute to positive change, whether it's in my own life, the lives of those I impact, or the broader community, fills me with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This journey is not just about reaching a destination; it's about the transformative journey along the way and the meaningful connections forged along the path.
