Medical Mission to Tanzania
My Travel Story
I made the decision a few months ago to step outside of my comfort zone and go on a medical volunteer trip with International Volunteer Headquarters (IVHQ) to Arusha, Tanzania! The aim of this project is to provide care to poor communities where healthcare is not easily accessible or affordable to the most vulnerable populations. I will be working alongside medical professionals in a clinic or hospital, gaining first hand experience and understanding of the healthcare system in Tanzania. I will participate in medical outreach campaigns in a local village where basic healthcare services are not readily available.
Every human deserves the right and access to healthcare. As a nurse for five years, I feel incredibly grateful to be able to provide safe care for my patients, without having to worry about lack of resources, clean water, and various other issues developing countries struggle with daily. I am looking forward to offer my knowledge, experience, and compassionate care to the people of Tanzania. Thank you so much for your love and support, and for considering to donate to my medical volunteer project!
Love,
Victoria
