My Travel Story

This isn’t just a trip, it’s the journey of a lifetime. We are two women who met on an international support platform called Dubbii, both navigating deep pain from trauma and past relationships. Neither of us believed in love anymore. Neither of us had ever dated a woman. And yet, from the moment we started talking, something shifted. We found home in each other. Peace. Joy. Laughter. Safety. A love that feels like breathing.

But there are 17,000 kilometers between us- me in Melbourne, Australia, and her in Wales, UK.

This fund will help us finally close the distance. Whether it brings her here or me there, it will mean our first hug, our first walk together, our first shared cup of tea not through a screen... Our first relaxing evening watching murder mysteries. It’s the beginning of a future we both never dreamed possible, and yet now we can’t imagine living without.
